When: Weekly on Wednesday afternoons 13:30-15:30
Venue: Newtown Community Resource Centre

Latin may seem challenging at first, but it doesn't have to be overwhelming. The language has a logical structure, with consistent rules that are easier to grasp than some modern languages.

You don't need to memorize endless vocabulary right away as so many words and phrases are familiar. We don't use the rigorous grammar exercises you may remember from school. Instead, we use simple written texts, elementary grammar and listen to spoken (yes, really!) Latin in our sessions. A basic knowledge of Latin would be helpful.
